My son LOVES St. Johns! He’s gone there two years now and has told me he never wants to leave. All the teachers and Father Phil are kind, warm and friendly. St. Johns provides the best environment for preschool school students to learn and develope. My son will be more than ready for kindergarten when the time comes!

We have had our children enrolled at St. John’s Preschool for three years now and We are very happy with the care and education they have received. Every morning when the kids walk into the classroom there are new and exciting projects for them to explore. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and they really try to make sure that the kids are comfortable and engaged. This is not just a “daycare”, their program has really helped my children prepare for the leap the kindergarten.

This preschool has been the perfect fit for our family. We especially love the play-based learning, great teacher to student ratios, daily Facebook updates and a very welcoming, family-like environment.

Our daughter started in the 3/4’s class last year and is currently in their Jr. K class five days a week. Not only has she grown academically, but we’ve seen a boost in her confidence and social skills as well. We are very happy with her progress and are certain she will be prepared for Kindergarten this Fall.

Father Phil, the Director Lisa and all the teachers are fantastic! This place is truly a gem and we look forward to having our son attend preschool here in a couple years.

My son Jacob absolutely loves St. John’s, and so do I.
The teachers there are amazing and truly care about the kids. Jacob has learned so much in just 7 months of going there. ABC’s, shapes, counting to 20, and more. His manners are way better as well, which is a good bonus. He’s made some great friends there. I really am thrilled with St. John’s and I couldn’t imagine Jacob anywhere else.
I highly recommend sending your kids there.

For two years my son has thrived at St. John’s Preschool. His first year was in the 3/4 year old class, two days a week. He really came out of his shell. This year he is in the pre-k class three days a week. He asks to go to school every day. The staff at this school love the children. It is a big family. This school has a special place in my heart. I adore the teachers and Father Phil.

My husband and I first became interested in St John’s as a potential preschool for our 2 year old son after hearing many wonderful things about it from friends and community members. In the spring of 2017, my son and I (and my newborn baby) dropped by unannounced. We were invited to play in the shaded playground and then join in in the classroom for an hour or so. What a great introduction to this charming, small scale preschool! My son loved it from the start.

We enrolled him in the 2s/3s class for the 2017-2018 school year and St. John’s did not disappoint. All the teachers, principal and chaplain are consistently welcoming, relaxed and approachable for both kids and parents. This is the case during regular day-to-day drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as in the event of developmental/behavioral challenges or administrative/billing issues. St John’s staff make an effort to get to know me and my husband personally. My son loves his teachers and they love him back.

Since he has started preschool, I have noticed:

– a marked improvement in sophistication of how my son interacts with peers and adults,

– a growing interest in singing and music,

– a great increase in creative imaginative (role)-play.

Although I would like to take credit as a stay-at-home-mom, it is clear that the time spent at preschool is the driving force behind this. I am also happy with the respectful and developmentally appropriate way faith values are introduced to my toddler. We feel this is an important part of forming him into a kind and compassionate human being.

On the drive home from St. John’s, I enjoy hearing my son tell me about what he did at school that morning, and I always look forward to checking the photos of the kids and their activities posted on St John’s Facebook page. They are a wonderful ‘peek’ into my son’s school life.

Most importantly, my son is always excited to go to school. I can think of no better way to instill a love of learning in my son at this young age.

This is our 3rd year at St. John’s and we love it. My kids look forward every day to go to preschool and have so much fun playing, working on fun crafts and projects and of course learning. I highly recommend this preschool!
